It’s not when your factory warranty has expired!
Contrary to popular belief, the best time to buy an extended warranty or mechanical breakdown protection for your car is NOT when the factory warranty is about to or has already expired. Like health or life insurance, vehicle extended warranties and MBP (Mechanical Breakdown Protection) policies become more costly and less comprehensive as cars age and accumulate miles. If you’re planning to keep your car beyond the time that it’s warrantied by the factory, give us a call, and we can advise you of when the best time is to buy extended coverage for your particular vehicle.
